Dear rockers! poppers! teeny boppers and old school shoppers,
A big hug to all and sorry for not being able to write to you guys for so long. Before I say something let me thank you all for all the love, the kind words and the criticism. They’re all a huge motivation to strive to be an improved Ali Zafar in every way for your and my own sake. The news is that from now I shall have the privelage of sharing my life in bits and peices with all of you through this blog on the website from time to time. I thought there is so much to share with those who care.
To start with what better than to share the “Dekha !” experience. Yes my new gift to you all. Had a blast while shooting it, hope you have a blast watching it too. Ofcourse I can see you all seem to enjoy the Jack Sparrow bit alot. Trust me i did too. I’d always secretly wanted to do that role and here i was. The first time I looked at myself in the mirror after the make up and everything dressed as Sparrow, even i was like “what the !!!” . Now the difficult bit was to think and render “how the hell would Johny Dep sing “Dekha jo taeree aankhon mein”?! .But i’m glad it came through well enough for you all to like it.
The rest of the experience of working with all the three ladies, i’ll leave that to your imagination. Try not to let your imagination wonder off too much. Behave! catch ya all soon.

Hey Ali!
The video is really nice and has a different and appealing concept behind it. So Congrats for that!!! However as far as the ladies are concern..*ahem* *ahem*…i wish there was atleast one who looked like your age and not your eldeST sister. LOL! but i guess not much can be done about that since we are short of good models/actors for videos. I must say reema and meera were good in the video and performed well but seriously i think amnah haq can’t act to save her life so taking her was really not a very good idea.
Anywayz, once again congrats on coming up with such a good album and videos. ANd i must say you luked buff in the video…keep smiling with those eyes!!!

Dekha is, indeed, an amazing video, and totally not what I had imagined it to be like. Everyone has acted extremely well, from the background dancers to the ladies. The three ladies look stunning too, even Meera. *coughs* LOL =P
You look awesome in every look given to you. I, personally, love the ‘Cowboy’ look the most. But then, maybe it is the ‘Grease’ look. Haha.. the ‘Jack Sparrow’ look sort of spooks me, hehe, but its great too and doesn’t look a single bit odd . Cheers for the make-up artists and the costume designing team :] .
Although it released a few months after the expected date, I must say, it was worth the wait. Hoping to see you come up with better and much better in the future.

Hi! I am from the UK. I am writing to tell you that you that you are such an inspiration to me and my family. You are a great singer and you have a heart of gold! Not often do you get people as genuine and as laidback as yourself! Usually celebrities as HUGE as you never have the time for us fans! You are promoting Pakistan in such a positive way! I love all your songs! Sajania, Masty,All of them especially Dekha (the johhny depp look suits u!) And a dream of mine is to one day go to your concerts! Its very unlikely though, but i will live by your words and always have faith! It is great to see you move from strength to strength, and inshallah you will go further and achieve more opportunities on the way! You deserve it!

Never doubt yourself and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! I have to say that I LOVED the Dekha video, and it was pretty crazy how much you resembled Johnny Depp’s character. Haha, you even had the same Jack Sparrow “movements” down. Actually, even the last part of the video - I thought it was probably a scene out of Grease (The movie). Seriously though, the video was awesome! Probably on of your best. =)
Oh and by the way, nice rhyming at the top. Haha.

Lol, yes I also think the Jack Sparrow character was the best one. And you pulled it off so well… I’m sure that’s exactly how Johnny Depp would do it haha! 
Once again, another brilliant video. They just keep getting better and better. Keep it up

hi Ali,
a great big congratulations on your success at londons geo pakistan festival, it was rocking. i was really lucky to get a space right at the front below the stage , the best view in the house. you were fantastic as usual. The only unfortunate thing about being at the front of the crowd was that i couldn’t get out fast enough to come to the side stage exit for an autograph or at least to shout my congratulations to you. I have to admit i have listened to your music in the past but since seeing you live at the festival i have become addicted. yes… truly a new bessotted fan!…so much so that it is even hard to concentrate when i am at work . anyways i hope i have the good fortune to be at one of your live performances again in the future.

i will tell you the truth i was sure for few seconds that that was Johnny Deep but when i saw you singing i was shocked and i am sure that i am not one to see this anyway you were cute in hole the clip like everyday . it was very funny in the end when you are on the poster with the three woman.

i’m new here.. anyways i was gonna come 2 u’r concert in wounderland but unfortunatly couldn’t.. mostly because i didn’t know who u were at the time but after a few week ma friends told me all about it and showed ma video they took of u and but i still wasn’t convinced so they showed me a few music video’s of u’rs. i likes them epecially the Pirat one. u were acting just like he would. wow… i had a different point of view about pakistani singers then . i tougt that they would try to copy others and were relly dump. but i’m STARTING to think a bit differently bout u guys. what i liked most about u was the fact that u don’t try to act like u’r all soooo smart and high and mighty and that u’r reliogon isn’t musch to u. becuse most ppl that come to canada just change their whole aperance and try to act like the “gora’s” here. all in all u’r CLEAN and hopefully stay that way. please stay that way u are and don’t change. keep u’r religon close to u and be godd role model. please don’t make any nasty music videos….just don’t let me down k. don’t give a bad name to our religon like sharo khan!!! serously… i don’t watch indian movies because they think there all that in them and practicly all of them have been copied from english movies sheeesh. god i can’t belive i saud all that. u better have read this all buddy!!!!!!
