Hi folks ,
First of all , thanks to everyone for the kind words. Twinkletoo…love to the family. Your dream shall come true one day inshAllah, just keep yourself updated with our concert schedule.
So I’m back home finally, rested, after a long trip starting from l.s.a in Malaysia till the London parade. What a blast! Had the time of my life.
Lets start from the l.s.a award ceremony. I think what happned on stage would be something you all will able to catch on t.v. soon anyway, but if i don’t fill you in with the offstage fun, whats the point of me writing to you, true?
Well to start with, the first night was fun packed as all of us friends got together and sang songs on the acoustic. The next two nights were even better as more people flew in. The show went on great as expected and it was time to celebrate and so did we all. The Youth Icon Award is indeed a big honour to cherish and even bigger to live upto, but I promise I shall do my best. May God give me the strength and all of you keep showering your love and prayers upon me to give me the courage to keep moving on.
Talking about moving on, I feel that celebrating 60 years of Pakistan in the heart of London on Trafalgar Square with approx. 15000 Pakistanis gathered with locals and foreigners to witness, definitely comes under the term “moving on” for all Pakistanis. I was more than happy to contribute in my own way and shall continue to do so in the future. Won’t we all ?

Hey Ali,
I must admit that in the past I never felt the need to write to a singer -but for some reason I really wanted to personally congratulate you on your music & success so far.
I saw your Dekha clip on a recent trip to Pakistan and was compelled to hear more! I got your 2 CDs and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and diversity of your songs.
You definitely give hope that the world will recognize Pakistani talent. So keep up the good music (& catchy videos)!
Btw, any plans to visit the US?

Hay dude, you are really rocking… you know what i like more about your music? its verstility! . Your music is not of one specific genre. Your both albums had mixed flavours- classic, blue, rock, pop, up-beat and folk as well. I’ve been a great fan of yours since the day i listened ‘jugnuon se bhar de anchal’ . I loved this track so much that, i searched for your home whole night to get an autograph, its true- i was in lahore at that time, we were on a college stay trip there and i listned to your huqa pani album and went out of hostle at 3:00 AM to find you in streets and roads of lahore. No one knew where you live
. It seems so stupid thing to do, but i did this ![]()
Ok coming back to your music, I love every single track of yours. and great vedios too. i am looking forward to watch your next vedio of ‘aag jesi’. Keep all your good work going and i pray that you not only stay the youth icon of pakistan, but also the youth icon of world
. one last thing, i appreciate you about your *secret* message in your track “aag jesi ye jawani” . Not everyone can convey this kind of massage in better way-YOU DID IT. We avoid these kind of discussions , which is now a loop-hole in our society. Anyways! keep rocking and keep spreading the language of peace and harmony in world.
regards!

Hey!! I’m so excited to watch the LSA’s this year. Seriously, they seem to get better year to year. Congrats on your Youth Icon Award. I’ll def. have to catch the LSA’s when they play on TV.
I’m glad you guys are traveling to London, Canada, and the US to do a tribute for Pakistan Day (That’s awesome, since we don’t have much to do here, on Pakistan Day). I actually really want to see you guys sing, when you come to the LA, but LA is atleast 7 hours away in a plane - that’s kinda far. Plus, it’s on my birthday, which makes it impossible for me to leave. =) Anyways, best of luck for your concerts in Canada and the US…maybe I’ll catch you the next time you come around to the US.
Byeee! =)

Hey. You often thank your fans for all the love and support so I take this opportunity to thank you for contribution to my life. Everyone likes to be told once in a while that something they’ve done or said has had a positive effect on them & your music has done just that. I don’t consider myself a happy person, I don’t stay happy for a long time, but everytime your songs hit my ears, it’s a completely different feeling! Thank you Ali.
I missed your performance in Trafalgar Square I’m sorry, I didn’t know it was a special day for Pakistani’s I would’ve gone even thought I’m not, if I had known
I MUST see you perform 1 day even if it means travelling half way round the world to Pakistan!. Must MUST!
…So er, touring the UK anytime soon lol?

hi Ali,
a great big congratulations on your success at londons geo pakistan festival, it was rocking. i was really lucky to get a space right at the front below the stage , the best view in the house. you were fantastic as usual. The only unfortunate thing about being at the front of the crowd was that i couldn’t get out fast enough to come to the side stage exit for an autograph, or at least to shout my congratulations to you. I have to admit i have listened to your music in the past but since seeing you live at the festival i have become addicted. yes… truly a new bessotted fan!…so much so that it is even hard to concentrate when i am at work . anyways i hope i have the good fortune to be at one of your live performances again in the future.
kind regards
wannabe
