Those for Truth
Posted in General by Ali at 4:20 am |

In these difficult times and for those to come, here is a little something from me to all those who think and more for those who don’t.

“Thus, GOD does not change the condition of any people unless they themselves make the decision to change” Quran.  13:11

“You will have to repent in this generation, not only for the words and actions of the bad people, but also for the appalling “silence” of the good people.”  Martin Luther King Jr.

I really enjoyed listening to “Those For Truth”. If one pays really close attention to the words of the lyrics, it really captures ones mind, and carries a broad meaning.
I liked the background music along with the words, the two things “clicked” quite nicely.

hey Ali asalamualaikum…..
its nice to see that you are always spreading the message of love and harmony and moreover peace among all your fans.

But the irony is that the country you come from is under such pressure right now that it is difficult to imagine the state of mind that the people of pakistan are goin through.

There was a time when we were ruled by the british, we were then called slaves to them, but that was then, that was the time when we thought it was enough of the outsiders to rule us, that was the time when we thought to fight back, to let the rulers crush down to ashes, that was then…

But this is now, nothing has really changed, now, we are being ruled by our own people, people whom we thought to be our leaders, our care takers, our guards, are ruling us setting aside all our democratic rights. so they are no less than they british, at least that time we could console ourselves saying we were being governed by foreigners, but what can we say now, the people we call our own, are no more so, they are mere puppets to still the same people who we once threw out of our countries, the FOREIGNERS…

So now, this time, it is our responsibility to drive away the disguised foreigners who pretend to be our countrymen away, irrespective of whether you are a pakistani or an indian, because these two countries were like conjoined twins which were seperated for the personal reasons of some, but just like how conjoined twins stay together even when they are seperated, even we have to be united in the times of crisis, so that we do not have to abide by the “POLITICAL DEMOCRACY” of some people…

I pray for all my pakistani brothers and sisters for their good health. May ALLAH bless them with great strength to fight a battle with their own people but not with armaments but with peace and harmony….

And lastly, dont worry my pakistani friends, because there is Allah to protect you, and there are your indian brothers and sisters to support you all….

May ALLAH bless everyone with guidance for love and respect for each other…..AMEEN……

ALLAH HAFIZ
Luv,
~U q B a - your indian sister…..

salaams ali,
and salaams to everyone else who is as keen on getting an update from ali as i am , including sister uqba :).

well i am itching to say something as a response to saheeras comment…but… i feel it would be inappropriate as i do not want to be seen to be hijacking your blogg ali …but please forgive me if i just say to her (and to you) please, please, please remember me in your duas…..and pray that Allah guides me and strengthens my imaan…….all i can say(which really isn’t even acceptable) is that i admit that my imaan must be weak and i am sure shaitaan has a field day when around me as i am easily misslead….ok ….ok i will shut up now.

anyway ali your latest song sounds as if it’s really from the bottom of your heart! i am sorry that you and the rest of pakistan are in such a state of uncertainty. May allah ease your burdens, both the collective ones and the personal ones for you ali.

unfortunately i am not that up on pakistani politics but from what i hear on the tv i don’t think any of the current candidates are going to improve the sitation in pakistan as two of the well known ones have ‘been there done that’ and what good things did they bring about? not much from what i can gather! personally i think musharaf has done the most for pakistan in my adult life than i have seen from any other person in power… even if he is going about it the wrong way at the moment!…… i think someone like imran khan needs to be given a chance ….he seems honest …..sincere….and i think would be great for pakistan but nobody seems to want to even give him a chance for some reason….can’t understand why the pakistani public are suckers for punishment…why on earth would they want benazir back with her history…or is my immpression inncorrect …hhhhmm….of coarse my judgement has only been made on the pictures of thousands of people supporting her which we keep seeing on the news!……maybe thats just what the media wants me to believe!

anyway ali, chin up, be positive, always remember allah and forever remain humble….wish i could be of some sort of support to you at this moment in your life……and if i can then …well you can get my emai address from the forum moderater… haroon!

take care

Salam Ali Sahab

wow, i love it… it was a very spiritual/gospel type song. For those who think its different.. well it is… cuz in this song Ali is using the effects of dual voice… where he records his voice in 2 pitches.. and it is played together.. whereas in his other songs.. its jus a single voice… thats what makes the song so unique and different from his other creations… i reallyyyyyyy liked it. Keep it up Ali Sahab… you are definitely a unique artist, one to be remembered always!

this song makes sense if coming to you if you have been reading the Quran (truly) and traveling a lot. Enlightenment has no schedule. It comes when it is destined to come your way.
My Advice; don’t turn into a fanatic/ extremist. Read only the translation of Quran and interpret it yourself. No doubt, the Quran is revealed unto every reader in a different and extremely relevant manner. That truly is the miracle of this amazing book. The true interpretation comes from within your heart. We’re Muslims. We don’t need any priests to reach out to Allah. He is around us, within us. Talk to Him, He replies, trust me.

All the best

wannabe said:

To hushed,
how can you be telling ali to interpret the meaning of the quran himself…….and not look for advice and guidance from more knowledgeable people…..unless you are a scholar in islam i don’t think we are nearly qualified to interpret the quran….it is more complicated than reading a fairy tale……. if we where all so clever as to make full sense of such complicated things then we all might as well buy encyclopedias and sit at home and never seek the advice of people who are trained. If you were sick you wouldn’t just pick up a reference book and treat yourself……you would go to see a dr… who is well trained and seek his advice. Although guidance and revelation will come from allah it is only right to seek guidance from people who are much more ‘well read’ than ourselves.
sincerely

hushed said:

Point taken.
I agree with you but then you have to be very careful who you’re going for advice. has to be someone truly learned and not a typical Mullah.

uqba said:

Asalamualaikum everybody & ALI…..
well i m in total tandem with wannabe’s perspective, indeed you have given a great idea as to how to go about in seeking knowledge, and if it is to seek the true essence of Quran, then you must have a proper guidance otherwise you can interpret it in the wrong sense. and hushed, as u just posted to ALI that dont become an extremist, this is a hadith for you, please do read it and understand it, our Prophet (PBUH) said, “islam me pure ke pure daakhil ho jaao” (totally get into the religion and not partially). Take care.
U Q B A !

Ray_Light said:

Hello ali,
Well i wanted to say that everybody is tallking about The Quran and writing about what they believe in.I am not a muslim but I have great respect for all the religions.I try to take knowledge from different sources.I take in whatever that appeals to me and gives me more strenght ,wisdom and light.I wanted to share what I believe in.I am not writing this to offend anybody. These words are by Buddha.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

hi everyone,
being absorbed in our deen and being blessed with guidance from allah is what we should all strive for, however as i said before the prophet mohammed PBUH advised that we should take the middle path! leaning not too much to the left or the right.
May allah help, protect and guide us all in these times of extreme temptations from shaitan in leading us away from even the basics of our wonderfull dean, ya allah please forgive our sins and the sins of those before us and those who will come after us, help us and our children remain muslim till they draw their last breath, ameen

well i saw you ali on this program viewed on ptv global yesterday with aamir quraishi. it was nice to see you mashaallah and to see that you have reached the end of the spiritual tunnel with safety and hopefully you have the answers to all the questions that were bothering you.. but the reason i was concerned and the reason that i have sent this blog is to make sure that you are genuinely happy.. you see you should not really care what people think of you at all..let yourself go completely.. remember you said that yourself once.. wise words from a wise person.. also i want to add that you are mashaallah a very intelligent person.. i know songs make people happy.. but how long that this happiness last.. not long.. i really think that you can achieve so much more than this.. people really like you as they should .. you are mashallah a very sincere and deep guy.. but i really believe that you are a greater guy than just a pop star.. i do not know what you should do.. but i feel that you have achieved all that you need to in this superficial and fake industry…you do not need to do anymore!!!! think big.. be big!!! i do not want to put any pressure, nay, this is just mere encouragement….please keep on getting to know your wonderful and Merciful Creator.. we will keep praying that Allah Taala continues to bless you and your wealth with barakah, that He continues to guide you spiritually and also to do the right things that bring you much joy and happiness in this life and the next life.. remember the only true happiness and success is in the next life.. may Allah Taala allow us to be together in the next life with Him!!! take care of yourself always.. remember all of Allah Taala’s prophets were misunderstood and accused of being crazy!! this misunderstanding of people should never stop us.. it should actually encourage us as long as we fulfill Allah Taala’s commandments at all times and are fearful of Him at all times! always be honest and be good, that is the right way always!

It was lovely to see you on the election programme on Geo. You made the programme very entertaining to watch. I liked the way you answered back to Reema everytime- it was genius. By the way I liked your hairstyle, it was different and I think it looked good on you. Just wanted to mention that as everyone kept on hassling you about it.

Take care, and hope to hear from you soon InshaAllah!

“You will have to repent in this generation, not only for the words and actions of the bad people, but also for the appalling “silence” of the good people.” Martin Luther King Jr

Just wanted to say that I loved the second saying a lot (ofcourse I did the first as well!). But the second one hit home because I am in New Zealand and my father is the most controversial man this country has known. He stands up to be heard against all that is bad in our society and health system in New Zealand. What does he get in return? - the people (in power both private and government sector) that feel threatened are coming all out at him and trying to destroy him and publically humiliate him so that his credibility dies and he can never practice as a GP ever again.

Such is the strength of the bad we live in today.

I stand up for him and his cause but some days it is so hard that you look around and you do not why you want to live another moment in this world that is around you; the pain runs so deep that you hate the very breathe that you take in.

But somehow you make it through another day.

The appalling silence of the ‘good people’ who support but never seem to raise their voice and just feel great that “oh suresh is so great he stands up for me” - those who should learn from him to stand up for themselves beside him - that appalling apathy gets to me worse than anything else that ‘bad’ people may do.

wish we could organise an awareness concert that could show all that the silence has been broken…..even if by some

regards and love to all
