I just couldn’t believe those four obvious L.B.W s by Shahid Afridy dismissed by the umprire .But I guess they know their job better . What matters is a good news after a long time . A happy saturday worth bumming infront of the t.v for the entire day . Weather in lahore is amazing today . Can hear my neighbours having a good time with some guests over ( mostly children ) . Have called a few people over at my place . Maybe we’ll sing songs on my terrace . Care to join in ?

How cool would it be to party at your house? Whenever I come to Pakistan- which I hope is real soon, because the ghul gappay in New York are terrible- I would love to come to Lahore. I always go to Islamabad which is too formal and diplomatic. Lahore is the cultural hub of Pakistan. Anyways, what I’m trying to say is, I’d love to come to your house!

Yep. Match was fantastic. Been real lucky.. because here (in Holland), the dutch soccer team’s going TOO good. And there, Pakis are at their best.

I agree with you. It was after ages that my father actually sat down with us to watch the match and took interest in the cricket match because he had the hope for Pakistan’s win. As a child I remember him staying glued in front of the television during matches but somewhere along the road of life, he had completely lost interest in the game. So it was great to see his enthusiasm back.
And this might sound freakingly scary or stupid but you ask ‘care to join in’ and it so happens that I woke up this morning after dreaming of jamming with you in some coool lounge somewhere. there were many many people, people i’ve never seen before, and somehow i dreamt of some pictures of you which i actually have never seen in reality.. some imagination i got. lol.
But I would love to jam with you someday haha !

Just finished watchin football.
Portugal lost 2-0 against Switzerland.
They should’ve brought Cristiano onto the pitch, then they would’ve definatly won.
Unfortunatly England didnt make it into Euro 2008, so im supporting Portugal for now. But i am a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Beckham fan and follow all his matches.My only dream iz 2 meet him sum day.

hey . i should thank you guys for being there for me . Thanks to the new world of internet . We can connect so easily. I dont like to feel like a star . I prefer being the boy who would just walk out and play cricket with the kids on street . I got the chance to that in Bombay too . The building that i was supposed to go to for a meeting had some boys striking some ball outside on the street . I couldn’t resist but try my hand . It was fun . Later on i went to see Indiana Jones with The Jal boys goher and farhan and we walked our way back home which was fun as we cant really get to do that alot here.

Nice to hear that you are well and happy mashaallah.. i guess that the love of cricket is as in built in Pakistanis as the love of great food..long may it continue..
It is also lovely to hear that unlike a lot of the world, you do not take life too seriously.. a lot of damage is done by older people to younger people by putting too much responsibility on us ie do this don’t do that, rather than actually letting us sometimes just enjoy life and the moment..may you continue to enjoy and encourage others to loosen up!!
by the way on Mahira’s show you mentioned vash malle . my family is intrigued what does it mean?

sadly, it was rained out so i just got to see them practicing…
